Would you like to help out with fundraising activities?
The Centre currently relies on income from donations, a small grant from the NHS, and community fundraising activities. We need to broaden this to include grant funders and companies.
Many heads are better than just one! This is not just about holding cans, though there may be a little of that!. There will be a lot of research to do, using the internet or otherwise. There will be forms to fill, envelopes to stuff, things to deliver, people to call, articles and letters to write, events to arrange, and people to galvanise into action. We have need of all types of people: imaginative ways of capturing funders’ attention are essential, but so are the abilities to then carry the ideas through. This is the chance to make a big difference to a small charity!
Any of the following skills and experience will be useful: time, enthusiasm, imagination, computer literacy, ability to research, ability to motivate others.
